NDDC ORGANIZES VOTE "DON'T FIGHT" CAMPAIGN IN RIVERS STATE






Ahead of the March 19th Assembly elections, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) yesterday organized "vote don't fight campaign / rally. It was a very colourful event as youths turned our in mass parading the major streets of Port Harcourt, telling everyone to "vote dont not fight".

Among those in attendance was the Acting Director General NDDC Madam Ibim Seminitary, along side other top officers of the commission. Also in attendance were members of the 23 local government areas of the state, as well as heads of student union government and students alike.

The parade  kicked off at Garrison, and the train went up NDDC  Arena, were the guest were taught on the importance of violent free election. The DG NDDC (Acting) madam Ibim encouraged all participants to stay clear of election violence, as there is no known benefit for such, she also pleaded with security agencies to beef up security during the forth coming polls. The participants were then taken through a talk show session, were more light was thrown on the dangers of election violence.
