On sunday April 6th, a 100 level student of religious and cultural studies Emmanuelle Oriji, was  been attacked and shot by armed robbers at about 4pm in Aluu community, Rivers state.

The incident occurred around  the university of Port Harcourt, when hoodlums attacked the young lady, whisking away her bag and valuables. Eye witness report that the boys were out for blood and trigger happy, as they shot about two rounds. She also said " how can we be in our state and feel so insecure, how do you justify the fact that the state has become so insecure, no more security whatsoever, as I speak to you now am scared, what if am attacked ?"

Our correspondent on Newscrystal.com Clifford Omachi, reports that she is undergoing surgery at the moment , and hopefully the level of the damage will be reduced.
