Alex Iwobi scored two as the Super Eagles defeated Plateau United 3-0 in a friendly match on Wednesday at the National Stadium, Abuja. This came after an Anderson Esiti first half strike.

Esiti's strike in the 39th minute got the Super Eagles in front after Ahmed Musa's severally missed clear cut chances against his former side.

In the 57th minute, substitute Iwobi doubled the lead for Rohr’s men thanks to the combined midfield brilliance of John Obi Mikel and Ogenyi Onazi.

The Gunners youngster added his second of the game after firing in from a close range encounter at the death to complete the rout.

Following the victory, Rohr's side will be much motivated as they intensify their preparation ahead of their date with the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
