Allegations of Extortion Report: False and Petty - Rumuodara Shop Owners

Shop owners in Rumuodara community on Thursday denied reports of extortion from a section of the media.

In what was termed an extraordinary security meeting held on Thursday by shop owners and security committee of Rumuodara Youth Progressive Forum, those in attendance who spoke during the meeting, praised the security committee for keeping up with their mandate.

reacting to allegations of extortion by one of the shop owners who identified herself as Ngozi, she noted that "Good leadership must come with criticism, you don't expect everyone to be on the same level of thought with you, the allegations are false and should not be taken seriously"


Ngozi further praised the security committee for what she termed as progress in securing properties of those doing business in Rumuodara.

The extraordinary security meeting which ended on a light note had Mr Samuel Chisom and Ejike, both shop owners, thank the President of the Rumuodara Youth Progressive Forum, Frank Nzube Weli for his good work in terms of sanitation and securing properties in the community.
